Two Great Sites for Readers: Goodreads and Bookbub

I have been a reader for nearly my entire life. My mother was a reading specialist, and one of our favorite outings was to go to the library.

My mom would go to the adult fiction or biography section, and I would head down the metal staircase, through the narrow hallway, to the Children’s Book section. The library limited the number of books you could check out to just 10, and I was always challenged to limit my selection to “just 10.”

I still love libraries. In fact, whenever we visit a new town, I always head to the library!

But, I also am finding that there are some pretty terrific sites for readers on the internet.

Two sites I recommend are Goodreads and Bookbub.

Goodreads is a fun community to explore. There you can join a group, read current discussion, review quotes from authors, ask authors questions, or read reviews from real readers–like you!

I am still exploring this site–and encourage you to do the same.

When you go to the site, please type in my name and follow me. It is a great place to chat!

The second site I am enjoying is Bookbub. When you sign up for Bookbub, you are offered great deals on ebooks on a daily basis. And, you can follow authors and other members to see what they are reading!

Again, please follow me there! Just type in my name.

Do you have sites you would recommend for readers?

Please share them in the comments section! I always am looking for fun reader sites!

I read mostly on my tablet so I found that if you have a library card, you can join Libby for “e-borrowing”. If you can’t get to a library and read e-books, great way to borrow books
