Launch Day for the Website

 

 

You prepare for this day for many months, reviewing copy, getting photos together, getting blog posts together–then, BOOM! One day, you are told “Okay, we are ready to launch, and like experiencing the first twinge of labor with your first baby, you panic momentarily and think, “I’m not ready.”

But, there is no going back–no pause button–it is full speed ahead!

Thankfully, I have a very excellent, and exceptionally kind, website developer who realizes that any new “mom” needs help! So, she sent me a very nice, highly supportive email to let me know “although I cut the umbilical cord, I am not far away.”

I have blogged and podcasted for years at my ministry website, BranchLiving. But, there is something about new software and a new site that makes me cautious, excited, and nervous all at once.

And yet, I can’t wait to get started!

So, thank you for joining me here. We are going to have fun talking about things we love–cozy small towns, fun people, great recipes, books, characters, and romance.

So glad you are here, friend, because it is time for liftoff!
