Not Those “Hazy, Lazy Days”… Yet….
Hi friends!
If you are like me—and those I have been chatting with recently—you are busy!
Even though the holidays are over, it seems we are all in preparation mode.
Preparing for:
- the end of school
- the beginning of new sports season
- summer travel
Preparing to:
- submit taxes
- do spring cleaning
- garden
If you are an author with a book scheduled to be published this fall, you are somewhere in content edits or line edits, working on the book cover, and lining up your launch team.
All fun—but it can get crazy, right?
One of my good friends, when faced with the busyness of life, says softly, “It is all good.” Kind of a modern-day version of “It is Well with My Soul.”
And, she’s right. It is all good.
The tough times are good for strengthening our souls and making us realize just how dependent we are on God.
The good times give us time to laugh, relish life, and to remember how loving and good God is to us. He truly is our father.
And, those “hazy lazy” days?
Ah—they give us time to reflect, breathe, and let God know just how grateful we are.
Each moment is precious. And, all of them are good!
